Mogadishu (RBC News) The number of new countries sending their diplomatic missions to Somalia has risen dramatically in the first three month of this year. Over twenty countries have scheduled to reopen their embassies in Mogadishu during these three months.
Following the end of years of civil war and several interim governments that ensued; Somalia is now in a recovery state and the international community is able to deal with it as a sovereign state.
The last countries to schedule reopening their embassies in Somalia are The Netherlands and Sweden.
European countries are leading the countries that their head of states have visited Somalia and pledged millions of US dollars in humanitarian aid and rebuilding the war torn country.
