Mogadishu (RBC) Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has strongly condemned in what he called as “terrorist attacks” that hit Boston town of United States on Monday, RBC Radio reports.
According to U.S media, at least three people are killed and 145 are injured two heavy bomb explosions struck near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday.
In a statement from the office of Somalia president said that Monday explosions showed that how the terrorist groups disregarded the lives of the civilians.
“Terrorists who are willing to reach their interest through violence will be defeated.” president Mohamud said in the statement.
“News information shows that among the killed people is 8-years old boy and that means these groups will not leave anyone to be alive” the president’s statement added.
Somalia president sent his condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the attacks which included onlookers and runners participating the event.
The U.S investigations department, FBI said that it is taking the lead in investigating the double bombing.
The Boston Marathon is a yearly public event that hosts thousands of runners and spectators from the world.
