Mogadishu (RBC) After returning from Kismayo tour, Somalia prime minister Abdi Farah Shirdoon “Saacid” starts another visit in Middle Shabelle region, RBC Radio reports on Saturday.
The prime minister along with several ministers are expected to reach today at Jowhar town, the regional capital of Middle Shabelle where he is scheduled to meet with local elders, security and government officials as part of the “Listening and Learning tour”.
Speaking shortly after he landed to Mogadishu airport from Kismayo tour, prime minister Shirdoon emphasized that he will proceed his visit to other region in order to fully understand the needs of the people.
Security is reportedly tightened in Jowhar town where hundreds of government security forces backed by the African Union peace keepers in the region were deployed into the town and the suburb locations.
