Mogadishu (RBC) AMISOM and the intelligence from the Somali government present at the international Airport of Adan Aabdulle in Mogadishu have arrested a man believed to be a member of Al-qaeda.
The man who was arrested is said to have hidden himself in the passenger plane which was headed to Mogadishu.
Intelligence reports from the inside told Raxanreeb Online that the arrested man was of somali origin and was came from United states and Europe.
the mans name was hidden pending full detailed investigation, before his arrival in Mogadishu, he is said to have traveled to Afghanistan and also in Arab countries, he is now currently held in a cell inside the airport where he is being interrogated by the Somali intelligence, Amisom and the CIA of America who arrived in Mogadishu upon receiving the news of his arrest.
According to the insider who spoke to Raxanreeb Online, the man was in a complete disguise and at the time of his arrest and had a shaven beard and also wore a pair of shirts and trousers but photos that were found which are believed to be brought by the CIA showed the man with a long beard.
The CIA had him followed in the plane, leading to his arrest upon the arrival in Mogadishu.
Officials of the government and AMISOM have not said a word concerning the arrest of this man and why he was linked with al-qaeda.
Efforts to have him released
Raxanreeb Online found out that, business tycoons in Mogadishu were all of yesterday trying hard to have the man released which was not possible and things became even harder when the CIA showed up.
