Marka (RBC Radio) Reports from marka town say that tension is still high as businesses came to staggering halt after the fight that took place yesterday between the military of Somalia which caused death and injuries, residents of marka town remained indoors this morning as there are fears that the fight might broke out again.
It was yesterday till last night when two groups both from the Somali military faced each other in an ugly battle, this particular fight broke out after the military was divided upon ethnic backgrounds. Efforts are being made to settle the tension and bring peace and stability to marka town.
Marka residents are fearful due to the fact that the two warring sides are still in town and they might fight for the second time in two days.
The governing body of lower shabeele region have sent a word to the government of Somalia requesting them to take in the two fighting military team and offer them training, chairman of the governing body Abdikadir Mohammed Noor said that the two groups do not have military training and that it is their request to the government to take them back to military camps.
