Mogadishu (RBC) Somali Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon has returned back home on Wednesday after concluding his tour to the regional countries, RBC Radio reports.
The prime minister was welcomed by ministers and security officials at the Aden Adde international airport where he has given a press conference on his tour to several countries in the region.
The prime minister said his three weeks visit to Saudi Arabia, Djibouti and Yemen has brought tangible improvement to the country.
“We have signed an agreement with the Islamic Development as well as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”the prime minister told reporters.
He said, following the agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia many Somalis will have the opportunity to seek employment in Saudi Arabia as legal channel.
“Also there is another broad agreement between Somalia and Yemen which we expect that our ministers will work together with Yemeni government.” he added.
