Djibouti (RBC) Somali Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon ‘Saacid’ and his defense minister Abdihakim Haji Mohamud have reached Djibouti capital late on Thursday where they have started official visit, RBC Radio reports.
The Prime Minister has returned from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he has spent one week official visit while the defense minister has joined the delegation from Mogadishu on Friday.
According to a press statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr Saacid and his defense minister will fly to Yemen in this week after holding bilateral talks with Djibouti government ministers.
The Djibouti government is currently one of the African countries contributing the AMISOM mission in Somalia to back the federal government of Somalia.
The Prime Minister’s statement said during his stay in Djibouti he will hold discussions on Somalia security and cooperation between the two sister nations with high level Djibouti officials.
