Mogadishu (RBC) Somali prime minister Abdi Farah Shirdon has praised yesterday’s agreement signed in Addis Ababa by the federal government of Somalia and the Jubba interim administration following more than ten days talks in Ethiopia capital.
“The agreement between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Jubba region administration is a historic victory for the Somali people. It is an example for the mentality of that Somali people can resolve their own differences.” the prime minister said.
Prime minister Shirdon stressed his anticipation that the decentralization of the federal regional administrations will take its roots into the regions of Somalia.
“It is an example for that the governance system it taking its root into the regions of the country.” prime minister Shirdon added.
The prime minister also thanked the IGAD member states and other members from the international community who have did great role for reaching the agreement.
