Garowe (RBC) The president of Somalia’s semi-autonomous state of Puntland Abdurahman Mohamed Farole has today reached Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
President Farole who spoke with the local media before jetting to Nairobi said his visit to Kenya was aimed holding meetings with the international community.
“We are planning to see some of the international community based in Nairobi, particularly those who interest in Somalia matters.” Farole said.
Puntland has recently said that it has cut off relation with the federal government of Somalia alleging that the federal government was undermining the federal constitution.
President Farole’s visit to Nairobi also came after Puntland said ti will not attend the European Union led Somalia conference in Brussels in September which the European Union member states are expected to pledge Somalia’s rebuilding.
