Mogadishu (RBC) Ann-Margarethe Livh, a Swedish politician who was wounded by armed men in Mogadishu on Wednesday is flown to Nairobi Kenya late on Wednesday, RBC Radio reports.
AMISOM spokesman Col. Ali Aden Houmud said the Swedish woman was admitted in AMISOM run hospital in Mogadishu for emergency and later the day she was flown to Nairobi.
Somali government security officials did not comment on the matter yet. But according to local sources the armed men attempted to kidnap the Swedish woman before they shot the people in the car which Ann-Margarethe Livh was on board.
A Somali man holding Swedish passport and a security guard was killed in the attack while a Somali lady who was from Somali diaspora living in Sweden was shot and wounded.
The per[perpetrators soon escaped from the scene while no one of them was arrested.
