Mogadishu (RBC) Somalia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdurahman Duale Beyleh has led a delegation today to China to attend the international Arab-China Summit which is due to open in Beijing, RBC Radio reports.
Before his plan took off from Mogadishu’s Aden Abdulle International Airport, Minister Beyleh has hailed the attendance of Somalia to the Arab-China Summit where he said will a better platform to publicize Somalia’s need for investment.
“We are traveling today to attend the International Arab-China Conference, as we expect that we will have a good time to see different leaders,” the minister said.
Minister Beyleh has expressed that his ministry will ease foreign investment willing to invest the country, as Somalia now moves to stable period after ending more than two decades of conflict and lawlessness.
“After the Beijing Conference, we will the attend another key conference in Greece where the European Union foreign ministers and Arab foreign ministers will meet,” he added.
