Capetown(RBC Radio) According to reports from South Africa,in the last 24 hours two Somali nationals were killed, the two, one of them said to be a 26 year old named as Yussuf Hassan Sabriye were killed at an area around 30 Km to Capetown.
The young man and other Somali youths owned shops in that particular place but on this one fateful day, men of South African origin came into their business premises asking for cigarettes but without doubt the young Somali men immediately knew they came on a different mission.
Things went from bad to worse when the young business men refused to offer them cigarettes, the South African men pulled out pistols and machetes which they started firing bullets on the innocent men instantly killing Yussuf Hassan Sabriye.
South African police arrived at the scene but instead of following up the culprits who committed the crime of killing an innocent man, instead the police men claimed that the shop was not authorized to operate in that area and therefore placed a lock at the door.
This brings about the credibility of the south African police and the safety of foreigners in the country mostly the Somali people.
It was not long ago when south African police were charged on an account of murder after they have caused the death of a taxi operator from Mozambique after tying him behind a car and dragging him on the streets.
In another incident similar to this one, a Somali man who was also a business man, although we were not able to get his name was shot and killed inside South Africa.
