Mogadishu (RBC Radio) After being away from the country for quite some time, the minister for social affairs of the republic of Somalia is back into the country where she was welcomed at the airport by some ministers and members of parliament.
Maryam Kasim Ahmed, the minister for social affairs, said that she went on a trip to different countries and held meetings with top government officials from the countries of England and Denmark where she said, the out come of the meetings were remarkable.
Among the issues the minister mentioned is the education sector. “In all the meetings i have had with officials from different countries, i placed education my first agenda since my ministry is doing its best to improve education status of the country”. said minister Maryam.
The minister pointed that she got big promises from the European countries in the improvement of education in Somalia, a country that is yet to stabilize from the 20 years of war
