Somalia: Prime minister of Somalia is expected to go to kismayu

Muqdisho [RBC Radio] Prime minister of Somalia Abdi Farah Shirdon is expected to go to kismayu early this coming weekend, according to reports from Mogadishu.

Preparations have started early for this highly regarded visit of kismayu by the prime minister, who is going to be accompanied by delegates and government officials, as expected security will be biffed up in all areas in Kismayu, which is the prime capital of Juba-land.

On the other side, chairman of the technical team whose mandate is to set up governance in Juba-land and Gedo Maalim Mohamed Ibrahim confirmed this reports saying that on this coming Saturday a delegation headed by the prime minister of the federal government of Somalia Abdi Farah Shirdon is expected in Kismayu.

A meeting is scheduled to start in Kismayu in the coming days which will lay foundation for the governance of Juba-land of which Mr. Ibrahim also pointed out that the prime minister will visit delegates who are expected to take part in that particular meeting preparations for the meeting are already on going.

“The main purpose for this scheduled visit of Kismayu by prime minister Abdi Farah is to end the misunderstanding between the federal government and the committee in charge of setting up governance in Juba-land”, added Mr.Ibrahim

Since the prime minister took helm of office, this will be his first visit of Juba-land.
