Center for Somali American Engagement condemns attack on Jubba administration leader!
The Center for Somali American Engagement has condemned an attempt to kill regional leader Ahmad Muhammad Islam Madobe.
The attack took place in Kismaayo on Thursday, shortly after he arrived back from Mogadishu when terror group carried this explosive and caused serious damage and many innocent people lost their lives.
The leader of Jubba region has played major role for building peace and reconciliation in Somalia. His leadership and the people of Jubbaland through their traditional and political leaders, has established their Regional Federal State in accordance with the Provisional Federal constitution of Somalia with the intention of building stability, law and order in the regions after the 23 years of instability in Somalia.
His leadership made Jubba region more stable, he would became a target for Al-shabab and extremist groups in the region. He is participating key role in state building and peace process in region.
