Mogadishu (RBC) Former Somali member of parliament Mohamud Sayid Adan in Somalia’s southern region of Gedo has blamed the Kenyan army in Somalia fir hindering the stabilization efforts in the country.
Mr Adan who was speaking with local media has said that the Kenyan army cut supplies from the Somali national army in Jubba and Gedo regions in order not to pursue Al Shabab fighters.
“It is unfortunate the Kenyans are now opposing our army and they do not like the fight against Al Shabab to come an end.” Mr Adan added.
The former Somali member of parliament Mohamud Sayid Adan also condemned what he described as the role of Kenya politics in Somalia which he said they have intervened a Somali-Somali matters.
There were no any immediate comments from Kenyan military officers in the region as Gedo region is one of the several Southern Somalia regions were the Kenyan army under the African Union Mission were battling against Al Shabab.
