OPINION
Both countries, Syria and Egypt are in turmoil although the latter is worsened. In Egypt, the democratically elected president was ousted from the power by the military in pretext that the massive people of Egyptians had shown in demonstrations their rejection over his rule and the military has sided people’s will as they claimed.
It wouldn’t have been justifiable and possible if such things could have happened in a low profile vested interest country.
Thousands of civilians are massively killed on cold blood. Like so civilians are daily killed, bombarded, tortured and humiliated by Bashar’s military men, while now the mass media are talking about a new wave of chemical attacks against women, children and men.
President Brack Obama had before drawn up a green light to intervene the war in Syria “if a chemical weapon is used” but up until now incapable to take any step. He is described as the weakest president ever rules USA when it comes to a military action.
The reality behind military’s coup in Egypt and over glimpsing Bashar’s massacre against his civilians by western countries, the so called “ guardians of democracy and human rights”, is not satisfying what outcome of next regimes would look like” Islamic regimes”, so they are bargaining on Muslim civilian blood in the mercy of their vicious leaders like Bashar Al-asad and General Sisi.
Islamic Phobia
Political Islam which Turkey is now an example in Muslim countries is not welcomed in western countries because they had already tasted the sour of independent democratically elected Islamic party which do not abide by their instructions. Turkey had put aside to act as puppet state since the Islamic party led by the current Prime Minister Raggib Dayyib Ordogan came to power in 2002. He rejected to follow what the western countries dictates to him, as the Prime Minister several times outspoken publically Israel’s brutal acts against Palestinian people. The party also improved the country’s economy and its foreign image in Muslim world by helping poor and forgotten countries like Somalia, and Palestine.
Mohamed Morsi who was belong to the well known Egyptian Muslim brotherhood which dates back its history at the beginning of last century has reached to power on ballot boxes but fell on trap. The first foreign test in which the Israeli and western governments have weighed over Mursi’s influence was the late Israeli air attack on Gaza where he firmly stood against to pressure Hammas instead he forced Israel and Westerners to abide by ceasefire conditions put forward by Hammas or face an open war.
In Syria, the most prominent militia fighters against Bashar’s regime are Muslims, so western governments do not want to rush into a war in which their interest is not on the forefront as they had already failed to influence the politics of a country which they had supported its people to overthrow Mocamer Al-qadafi ( Libya). As to abort their military gains and advances in the battle ground, Powerful and advancing fighters had been described as Al-Qaida affiliated groups; a term used on Jihadist movements.
The meeting of World Muslim prominent scholars in Egypt, scholars have described that war in Syria against Bashar’s regime as pure Jihad and everyone who is capable to take part it by any means is permissible to travel there and will not be hunted back.
Saudi Arabia was part in that initiative but ridiculously it is now supporting the idea of alienating the Muslim brotherhood from the politics in Egypt and went far by saying” we are very happy to support the military men for their fight against terrorists” who are then terrorists the civilians killed on cold blood or the thugs and police using machine guns on civilians?
Tunisia which Al-nahda party had won the elections and twice forced to reform its government is now under fire from old Bin Ali Guardians with the support of Arab Gulf states who fear from the political Islam in the Muslim World.
They offered Egyptian military rulers to inject billions of dollars in support of their economy if werstern governments attempt to withdraw the economical support from Hassam Al badlawi’s government which is backed by the military.
Chemical weapons
Bashar has used a chemical attack against his own civilians while the inspectors from Bankomin are sleeping on nearby Hotel where the chemical attack had happened. Hundreds if not thousands mainly women and children were killed in that attack through heavy shelling.
It is a clear signal which Bashar Al-asad and Russia has sent to both Western and Arab Gulf states that the killings on pro Islamic ideological civilians is permissible wherever they are because they are all terrorists as we are common in name, and it is not necessarily important the geographical locations they live in.
As already mentioned, Barrack Obama had vowed to intervene the war in Syria if chemical weapons against civilians if any side uses but the question mark is who holds chemical weapons when he used the term “any side”?. He has no both diplomatic and military capability to intervene the war in Syria now, while Russia had defeated it many times in the UN political arena on the Syrian issue.
What they can do is once again to demand to send UN inspectors to confirm those allegations as they always put words. More than nothing is expected from Europe and America. The circle of civilian targeting on both Egypt and Syria will circulate and continue until whole nations in the Middle East are branded Terrorists even within the countries.
