MOGADISHU (RBC) The President of Somalia Federal Government Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has on Sunday afternoon departed to London leading Somali government delegation to attend the upcoming ‘Somalia Conference in London’ on Tuesday May 7th, RBC Radio reports.
According to president’s spokesman Abdirahman Omar, the delegation included the foreign minister Fawsiya Yusuf Haji Aden, the minister of finance Mohamud Suleyman, the justice minister Abdullahi Abyan, the state minister for foreign affairs Mohamud Nur and the state minister of presidency Farah Abdukadir.
“President Hassan and his delegation will give detailed program of government institutions reform to the conference, and we hope the outcome of this meeting will be greater than before.” Omar said.
On Tuesday, the second international conference on Somalia is going to start in London, with the co-chairing of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and UK’s Prime Minister David Cameron.
Two semi-autonomous regions on the northern Somalia, Puntland and Somaliland have rejected to participate the conference. Both insisted that they were willing a higher status invitation to attend the conference.
