Garowe (RBC News) The president of Puntland Dr Abdurrahman Mohammad Faroole held banquet last night for delegates from the European Union at his newly inaugurated presidential palace in the Puntland capital Garawe.
The vice-president, members of the cabinet, Puntland Electoral Commission and other officials has attended the banquet. During the Puntland members of Waaberi band of Puntland sang welcoming songs for the gathering.
The EU delegates have arrived in Puntland yesterday and have had a meeting with Puntland authorities. They also visited different place in in the capital Garawe including some projects undertaken by the EU.
