Mogadishu (RBC News) The UK secretary for African affairs Mack Simmon was touring Ethiopia and Uganda these days in an effort to convince these two countries the importance of the upcoming London conference on Somalia and how the leaders of the region of east Africa can play a major in the meeting.
Mack Simon has announced that the reason of his tour to countries in the horn of Africa is to maintain and help Somali’s fledging governing system to enable it to stand on its feet again and to deliberate the priorities of May 7th meeting in London.
Uk has previously hosted a big conference on Somalia last year which has gathered delegates from around 60 countries; however the upcoming conference comes after Somalia has formed official government and ended years of transition.
